Bush stubbornly defends U.S. war on terrorism

President Bush is stubborn on most things. He is not always right, or Right, but he does pick a choice and stick with it instead of taking a poll every day to see if he should change his position.

Let's keep killing terrorists until they lose the will to fight. Then we can negotiate.

globeandmail.com: Bush stubbornly defends U.S. war on terrorism: "In his swan song speech yesterday to the United Nations, the world body that refused to authorize his attack on Iraq, U.S. President George W. Bush staunchly defended his controversial war record and warned that 'the world must continue to confront terrorism.'

Mr. Bush said wars to topple the Taliban and oust former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein had been worthwhile. 'Afghanistan and Iraq have been transformed from regimes that actively sponsor terror to democracies that fight terror,' he told the annual gathering of world leaders at the opening of a new UN General Assembly session.

Iran's fiery President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who spoke later in the day, looked on, waving to watchers in the public gallery and, at one point, giving a 'thumbs down' as Mr. Bush denounced Tehran's Islamic theocracy as one of the last few nations - he also named Syria - that 'continue to sponsor terror.'"

Student, car debt quietly added to bailout plan

Washington Times - Student, car debt quietly added to bailout plan: "In the dark of night over the weekend when most people were snoozing, the Treasury dramatically expanded its bailout plan to include buying student loans, car loans, credit card debt and any other "troubled" assets held by banks.

The changes, which were included in draft language that also opened the bailout program to foreign banks with extensive loan operations in the United States, potentially added tens of billions of dollars to the cost of the program.

Although it was a major addition to what was already the nation's largest-ever bailout, it did not become part of the debate between Democrats and the Treasury over details of the program. A Monday counterproposal by Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher J. Dodd included such consumer loans as well as mortgages, just as the Treasury's draft did Saturday night.

"The costs of the bailout will be significantly higher than originally considered or acknowledged," said Joshua Rosner, managing director of Graham Fisher & Co., who charged that the Treasury and Federal Reserve have not been "forthright" about the ultimate cost to the public. The plan gives Treasury the discretion to buy the non-mortgage loans and securities in consultation with the Fed.

Conservatives cited the move as a sign that the massive plan to take over bad mortgage debt already is opening the door to further government bailouts. "

Rethinking School Active Shooter Procedures

At the start of each school year students enter their new classrooms with seemingly high aspirations, full of energy and look forward to meeting their new teachers and classmates. Traditionally, the focus of education has been delivering up to date curriculum so that our kids leave the classroom with knowledge, skills and abilities that make them marketable. We want them to be productive, law-abiding citizens. That's the way it used to be; it was the central focus. Today, there are competing influences within our local school districts other than offering a good education. Safety has become a paramount concern given the ever growing incidents of active shooters in our academic environments.

As a former law enforcement officer, police/security professional trainer, and current educator, I have a unique perspective on school violence. I know of other teachers whose number one concern isn't developing the young minds in their midst, but rather keeping their kids safe (and themselves too) for the 7 hours they have them. I've seen the trend and the resulting changes not only from an officer trained to respond to an incident in "Quad" fashion, but as a teacher performing lock downs. However, when evaluating the typical school lock-down procedure (as a teacher with the mindset of a cop) in response to an armed aggressor inside of the building, something just doesn't make sense.

The notion that students, staff and faculty should immediately take cover and hunker down when a gunman enters the school is based on the conventional physical security supposition, better known as the 4 Ds. Basically, Delay, Deter, Detect, and Deny, with great emphasis placed on Delaying the gunman from entering rooms packed with kids, via a locked door, and blasting away. As we all know, the strategy is to stall for time so that 3 - 4 officers can arrive on scene, form up, tactically enter, find and neutralize the shooter. My issue is not taking fault with the 4 Ds in general, because the concept is useful and well established, but I argue that lock-down procedures are inherently flawed, because we focus on the wrong D first.

Any basic police academy rookie will attest that shooting range qualification is rather easy when your target is standing still. Later in my career, when I went through the SWAT Qualification Course I found that my shooting skills were really put to the test when firing on the move in confined spaces. This simply highlights what common sense denotes to be true: If you are the shooter then you want your target to be standing still; if you are the target then you want to be moving.

Academia is filled with complex learning theories. Genetic Epistemology is one of them. To an educator it means there are studies that centralize the accumulation of knowledge and its limitations. Further deduced for the working cop, that same theory means that just because someone is smart doesn't mean they know everything. Instead of always being the instructor, educational administrators should be the student once in a while and learn from those who earn a-living dodging bullets, notably law enforcement and the military. Police Officers are trained to seek cover and concealment as they move. Small unit infantry tactics taught in the U.S. Army stress "Shoot, Move, and Communicate". The underlying principle: a moving target is hard to hit. Since this is true then why are we conditioning our kids through lock-down drills to stay still? Are school lock-down procedures leading them to the slaughter?

We need to focus on using the right D in its appropriate order, which begins with Detecting a threat before it arrives at your front door. What have we learned after enduring mass killings in our schools over the last decade? Someone always knew that someday it would come, because the killers told people. The victims chose to think the threat would never materialize. We need to develop situational awareness training for teachers, staff and faculty that serve as a means to cultivate, vet, process and disseminate information, much like debriefing confidential informants in the drug enforcement world.

Deterring a potential gunman begins with appearance. If the facility looks unprotected or is determined to be easily infiltrated (entering without being immediately challenged) then your location becomes the target rather than someone else. When the mass killing of our children is the goal of a murderer, regardless of age, then the physical security appearance of our schools better look robust. Recently, I attended a review of a new high school that was scheduled to be open this fall semester. No expense was spared by the school board to make the school look as if it were an ivy-league college campus. Of course, planning for physical security was an after-thought; kept to a minimum.

When the gunman arrives we need to invoke mass movement so that the shooter will be Denied the aid of a static target. Police Officers are trained in a technique called "Shot Avoidance", which helps them negate the chance they will be hit by the first rounds fired. This technique could very easily be added into any gym class and applied to sports or fitness. The students would have fun learning the mechanics of the movement, while not knowing that they are actually learning how to avoid gunfire. It's a skill hopefully they will never need, but if they need it they have it.

If a shooter enters the north side of the building, and a PA announcement clearly states "gunman North side of the building" then everyone situated in the East, West and South sides of the facility needs to get out of the building, not lock-themselves down. If you can see the shooter in this environment, then he/she can see you. That is when you use cover and concealment (a.k.a. lock-down), Delaying the lethal encounter. Notice that delaying anything does not guarantee it will not occur, it only slows time down. Hopefully, reinforcements arrives faster than repeated trigger pulls.

As a nation founded on the principals of Christianity, and filled with many good, God fearing, men and women we would like to say that there is no such thing as "acceptable casualties" when it comes to our children. However, that statement is not true, is it? If it were, then the funding of school security would always be a priority and huge, sweeping, changes to active shooter protocols would have been mandated across the country the first time students were killed by a gunman. That hasn't happened has it? What I have suggested above is A way to better our response to such catastrophes, but not the only way. Each district faces unique challenges, special circumstances and their security plan must be looked at individually. If students are expected to treat a serial killer entering their school the same way they would a tornado then perhaps the true killer isn't the gunman; it's us.

The Jawa Report: Muslim Ex Boyfriend Charged in Murder of Two Sisters in Britain

The Jawa Report: Muslim Ex Boyfriend Charged in Murder of Two Sisters in Britain: "Muslim Ex Boyfriend Charged in Murder of Two Sisters in Britain

murderedsisters0922.jpg
A man has been charged in the murder of two sisters murdered in their flat last week in Birmingham.

Via BBC: A man from Birmingham has been charged with the murder of two women who were found dead at their flat in the city.

The bodies of Yasmine Larbi-Cherif, 22, and her 19-year-old sister Sabrina were discovered on Monday.

Forensic tests revealed the pair, who lived at Jupiter Apartments near the city centre, died of stab wounds.

The original BBC report about the murders described the scene as...

challenging, forensically".

He added there was a "substantial amount of blood" inside many of the rooms

Charged in the murder is Mohammed Ali who has been identified as the ex-boyfriend of the elder sister.

Which makes the questions in this weekly standard article all the more relevant.

That being said, I see three significant issues. First, there is a question about rights that are due to specific political communities. Are the rights provided to women under British marriage or inheritance law a baseline that they are due, or can they freely contract to be given fewer rights? We have in fact already seen this happen under the sharia tribunals. In a recent inheritance dispute described by the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal’s Siddiqi, a deceased man’s estate was divided between his three daughters and two sons. The Times reports: “The judges on the panel gave the sons twice as much as the daughters, in accordance with sharia. Had the family gone to a normal British court, the daughters would have got equal amounts.”

This fact raises a question about how voluntary individuals’ accession to the sharia tribunals will actually be. Are women (for example) going to be forced by their families into marriages under sharia that provide them with fewer rights than they would have under British law?

Well the women could obviously choose to not use the Sharia court. Of course there will be er uh reactions from the Muslim community for choosing British common law over Sharia. A girl who wants to keep her head needs to keep that in mind. Too often families or others who feel their honor has been damaged resort to murder to restore it. "

Officials: Pakistani Troops Open Fire on U.S. Choppers

My big question with this report is, are the Pakistanis going to be terrorized into the Taliban camp? Just as the Spaniards decided to follow Al Qaida orders rather than face more bombs.

If the West gets involved, this will be seen as proof that the current government is too weak to fight the terrorists. If the West fails to help, then the government will be under constant attack because it is too weak to fight back and the lack of Western aid will be seen as a victory for the terrorists who are giving the orders to the Pakistani government.

Either way, the terrorists are winning. Once they take over, it will be a toss up as to which country will invade them first. The US and Israel both know they are at the top of the list to receive Pakistani nukes, with India and China being the next countries on the list. India has tolerated a lot of violence over the years in the name of Peace. China hates the terrorists who are constantly attacking and killing to force China to like Islam. I am putting my money on India, as the closest Power. With the US providing needed aid.

Besides, the US government is most likely still going to dominated by the Far Left who will refuse to intervene even if a city is nuked.

FOXNews.com - Officials: Pakistani Troops Open Fire on U.S. Choppers - International News | News of the World | Middle East News | Europe News: "U.S. helicopters flew into Pakistan's militant-infested border region, but returned to Afghanistan after troops and tribesmen opened fire, intelligence officials said Monday.

The U.S. denied Monday there was any incursion but the reports threatened new rifts between Washington and its key anti-terror ally days after a truck bomb killed 53 people at a luxury hotel in Islamabad.

Nuclear-armed Pakistan is under growing U.S. pressure to act against al-Qaida and Taliban insurgents sheltering in its border region and blamed for rising attacks on coalition troops in Afghanistan as well as suicide bombings in Pakistan.

U.S. officials believe that al-Qaida's leaders, including Osama bin Laden, are believed to be hiding somewhere along the border.

Late Monday, Dubai-based TV channel Al-Arabiya said it had received a tape from a shadowy group calling itself 'Fedayeen Al-Islam' — Arabic for 'Islam commandos' — claiming responsibility for Saturday's bombing at the Marriott hotel in Islamabad and calling on Pakistan to end cooperation with the United States."

How you can help to save some cherished words from oblivion - Times Online

How you can help to save some cherished words from oblivion - Times Online: "It may appear agrestic to ask, but The Times is calling on its readers to come to the rescue of words that risk fading into caliginosity.

Dictionary compilers at Collins have decided that the word list for the forthcoming edition of its largest volume is embrangled with words so obscure that they are linguistic recrement. Such words, they say, must be exuviated abstergently to make room for modern additions that will act as a roborant for the book.

Readers who vilipend the compilers’ decision and vaticinate that society will be poorer without little-used words have been offered a chance to save them from the endangered list Collins, which is owned by News Corporation, parent company of The Times, has agreed that words will be granted a reprieve if evidence of their popularity emerges before February, when the word list is finalised.

Times readers can help to lift the malison on their favourite word by voting for it at the Comment Central weblog on Times Online, which will use its influence to persuade the public that the winning word is compossible with everyday speech."

Intelligence: Witness Protection On The Afghan Border

Intelligence: Witness Protection On The Afghan Border: "Witness Protection On The Afghan Border

September 20, 2008: The U.S. intelligence network in Pakistan, along the Afghan border, has been under construction for more than a decade. While the Taliban and tribal unrest has made it easier for the government, and the U.S. (via the Special Forces or CIA) to recruit informants in the Pakistani border areas, the Taliban has responded by launching witch hunts, killing unpopular or suspicious tribesmen, after accusing them of being spies. The point is made, even if justice is not served.

The informant network is getting lots of key Taliban and al Qaeda leaders killed. Several times a month, GPS guided missiles are fired from Afghanistan, or from UAVs overhead, and kill people who appear to have been identified by locals. The Americans pay large rewards for information that leads to a successful attack. While the Taliban are killing anyone they suspect of being an informer, most of the dead appear to be innocents who simply looked guilty to increasingly paranoid Taliban.

The growing use of cell and satellite phones in the tribal areas has caused the Taliban and al Qaeda no end of grief. These devices are very popular with the tribesmen, despite the known danger of the phones being tapped into by the Americans, or used by informants to let the Americans know where a terrorist big shot will be staying for the night. The Taliban will try to seize all cell and satellite phones in a particularly sensitive area, but this is difficult to do. Blowing up cell phone towers is very unpopular, and hurts the Taliban users as well.

Cell phones can get you killed. If the Taliban grab someone they consider suspicious, and find a cell phone on him, they will just kill the guy, to be on the safe side. Some tribesmen carry two cell phones. There's the fancy one they like to show off to friends, and the cheap burner they will use in public places. Show off a fancy one in the wrong location, and you are marking yourself for a mugging.

Naturally, the CIA and U.S. Army Special Forces don't talk about their informants in the tribal areas. But some of the chatter in the area is remarkably well informed about the matter. For example, the CIA first began recruiting informants during the 1980s, in support of the operations in Afghanistan against the Russians. This network was allowed to lie fallow in the early 1990s, but was revived after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan in the mid 1990s, and especially after al Qaeda arrived a few years later. Some tribesmen have gotten quite rich off the informant game, and then disappeared. Not to an early grave, but apparently into some kind of "informant protection program" exile. Occasionally one of these exiles will break the rules and ring up old friends, just to see how things are going. For the Taliban, they aren't going well at all. "

US Embassy in Yemen targeted in complex assault - The Long War Journal

US Embassy in Yemen targeted in complex assault - The Long War Journal: "Yemeni security forces repelled a complex attack on the US Embassy in the capital of Sana'a. More than 16 were killed after terrorists detonated multiple bombs then launched a ground attack in an attempt to breach the compound.

The attack began after several bombs were detonated just outside the embassy. The terrorists then ambushed the first responders by using prepositioned snipers. The terrorists were wearing uniforms of Yemeni security forces and driving what appeared to be police cars, which enabled them to get close to the heavily fortified compound.

A sustained firefight then ensued between the terrorists and the embassy guards. The exchange of fire included machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades, and hand grenades according to one report. It was reported that one of the attackers was wearing a suicide vest. Six attackers were killed as well as a dozen Yemeni security forces.

Two Americans are among several civilians reported to have been killed in the attack. The family of Susan Ali Elbaneh, a US citizen, said she was killed today in the terrorist attack in Yemen. The 19 year old Yemeni-American was one of the civilians killed outside the embassy during the attack. The newlywed Elbaneh was alongside her husband of two months, a family member reported.

Susan Elbaneh is a relative of Yemeni-American Jaber Elbaneh who is on the FBI's most wanted list. Yemen has refused to extradite him. There are no indications that Ms. Elbaneh's presence at the embassy was anything more than a random occurrence. She accompanied her sister in law who had an appointment with the embassy. Ms. Elbaneh's nephew, aged three, may also be among the casualties.

The US withdrew nonessential personnel in March due to terror threats and only recently decided to reverse that decision.

A group calling itself Yemeni Islamic Jihad took credit for today's attack. The group last month claimed responsibility for a July suicide car bombing at a police station in Hadramout killed one policeman and injured 18. "

Attrition: The Big Killers Get Away Unseen

Attrition: The Big Killers Get Away Unseen: "The Big Killers Get Away Unseen

September 18, 2008: War is a matter of definition, because there are high levels of violence in many parts of the world that are not considered, by the media anyway, as a war. Overall (worldwide), 700-800,000 people a year a dying from violence. Fewer than ten percent of those deaths are caused by what is generally regarded as a "war." But three or four times as many die from war related disease and starvation. Then again, far more people die from disease and starvation in parts of the world where there is little violence.

For example, South Africa has a murder rate of 65 per 100,000 population per year. The death rate is also high in some other African countries (like Sudan, Somalia and Congo), but those places don't keep records as efficiently as South Africa. The Iraqi rate is now running at about 48 per 100,000. The Afghanistan rate is about half that. India, another area with lots of terrorism (and half of it is from communist and tribal rebels) the murder rate is about four per 100,000. That's about the same as most European nations, and half the U.S. rate. But the Western Hemisphere has always had a higher homicide rate than the Old World. No one is quite sure why.

The amount of disease and starvation deaths in Africa is staggering, resulting in average life expectancies of under 40 years in several countries that are not at war. Most of the early deaths in Africa are the result of corruption and inefficient government. "

Intelligence: FBI Unleashed

Intelligence: FBI Unleashed: "FBI Unleashed

September 18, 2008: The U.S. wants to rescind rules that govern how quickly FBI agents can pursue an investigation. Back in the 1970s, Congress forced the FBI and CIA to limit their ability to investigate spies, terrorists or criminals. This was in reaction to presidents in the 1960s and 70s using these two agencies too freely for partisan purposes. In the last decade, it's been accepted that these restrictions were partially responsible for al Qaeda being able to carry out the September 11, 2001 attacks (in particular those terrorists who learned to fly the aircraft at American flight schools).

It's also become obvious that terrorists exploit these restrictions, knowing that they have more time to flee, or just detect FBI interest in them. Under the old restrictions, the FBI had to deal with terrorists like they would a U.S. citizen suspected of a crime that was already committed. With terrorists, you are mainly trying to detect and stop terrorists before they can carry out their attacks.

Under the new rules, FBI agents have the ability to conduct surveillance, interview people possibly associated with suspects and generally look into possible terrorists without waiting. The new rules will enable the FBI to more effectively undertake their new (post-September 11, 2001) intelligence collecting duties, and are to go into effect at the end of the month. Congress, however, could intervene and prevent implementation.

Peralta to be given Navy Cross posthumously

I think you deserved the Medal of Honor, Sergeant. Semper Fi. Rest in Peace.

Peralta to be given Navy Cross posthumously - Marine Corps News, news from Iraq - Marine Corps Times: "Navy Secretary Donald C. Winter will award the Navy Cross medal — the nation’s second-highest combat award for valor in combat — to Sgt. Rafael Peralta, who pulled an enemy grenade to his body before it exploded, the Marine Corps announced Wednesday.
Discussion: If Peralta's actions don't rate a Medal of Honor, what does?

Peralta, 25, died Nov. 15, 2004, while he and members of Alpha Company of 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, were in the second week of fighting in the Battle of Fallujah when he barged into a house with a rifle squad. They immediately came under fire from insurgents inside the house.

“Peralta was caught in a deadly crossfire between insurgents and his Marines, leaving him mortally wounded,” officials said in an announcement released by I Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton. “After the initial exchange of gunfire, the insurgents broke contact, throwing a fragmentation grenade as they fled the building.” The grenade stopped near Peralta’s head, they said, and “without hesitation and with complete disregard for his own safety, Peralta reached out and pulled the grenade to his body, absorbing the brunt of the blast and shielding fellow Marines only feet away. Peralta succumbed to his wounds.”

Officials did not say when the Navy Cross would be presented to Peralta’s family. In making the announcement, they acknowledged that the fatal blow may have come from another Marine’s weapon.

“Following multiple and exhaustive reviews, the evidence supports the finding that Peralta was likely hit by ‘friendly fire,’” officials said in the statement. “This finding has no bearing on the decision to award the Navy Cross medal.”"

Jihadis vs Bikers

I am not sure what to think about working with the Hells Angels. They are racist drug dealers who are at least willing to fight against the Muslims, but they might demand too much in return in the long run. IF things return to some semblance of normality.

I think a better option is to form groups who will stand up to the Muslims without breaking any laws. Well, except for the PC ones that demand the immigrants be treated better than the nationals. When the cops are rougher on the locals than the foreigners, that is an issue.

Something... and Half of Something: Taking it to the Streets: "Taking it to the Streets

The United States of America can learn a lesson from Denmark, and what happens when a government places the rights and values of its own people behind a group of lawless, violent immigrants. That lesson would be that those very people will form their own groups and defend themselves, with violence. This is a bitter and terrible solution to something which could have been fixed so easily by simple acts of legislation.

The end result, in Denmark, ordinary citizens are joining for outlaw bikers gangs who are ready, willing and able to fight the moslem hordes because the police will not.

The Hell’s Angels biker group is experiencing a flood of new applications for membership, in particular for its support group AK81.

AK81 is a support group for the Hell’s Angels. The acronym stands for the Danish words Altid Klar (Always Ready), while 81 are the alphabet numbers for H and A.

The increase in membership enquiries comes in connection with a showdown in recent weeks between immigrant groups and the Hell’s Angels as well as shows of strength by Hell’s Angels members who have walked the streets of Copenhagen and Århus en masse.

A concerned police force has, however, registered the flood of interest in being recruited to what is termed the Hell’s Angels ‘mini-army’.

“We are worried that this is escalating and involving more and more people,” says Deputy Chief Superintendant Jørgen Isalin of the National Investigation Support Centre.

“It’s all going very fast now and there is no doubt that more and more people are joining. This is also happening on the other side too where large numbers of anti-social youths are supporting criminal immigrant groups who cause trouble in the streets and are provoking the Hell’s Angels,” he says.

Lines are being drawn in Denmark, lines between the lawless moslem gangs and the lawless biker gangs, and the police crackdowns are strangely one sided, the bikers go to jail and the moslems go free.

The police, who have used all their resources at keeping the bikers in check, have used a far more soft touch towards the muslim gangs. Very often the police withdraw from confrontations, and leave demolishing hordes of immigrants untouched, contrary to a simple house search or an arrrest relating to the Bikers’ gangs, when they arrive in overwhelming numbers, ready with bullet proof vests and submachine guns.

Only little more than a week ago, a gang of about 50 immigrants rampaged a whole street in Copenhagen Jægersborgsgade, a local neighborhood where some HA members have their homess, indiscriminately smashing up a number of cars. The police watched helplessly, and no arrests were made. The action was a display off of power, after bikers and their new supporter from AK81, had held a silent and non violent march through to demonstrate their willingness to fight for their turf.

Partly this is part of a government and EU strategy, which puts great restrictions on the police when dealing with immigrants and immigrant gangs. There always are the accusations of ‘racism’, and the muslim gangs are also much feared than the bikers when it comes to their threats to harm individual police officers or their families. Many policemen whose identities are known by the immigrant gangs, would rather not have their house torched or their loved ones attacked by the invaders who have taken their extremely violent mentality with them straight from the Middleast.

Being virulently anti-illegal immigration, I would support such actions by law abiding citizens here in this country against illegal immigrant and their gangs and being generally islamophobic, I would support such actions against rioting moslems as well, especially if they try to pull the same shit here as they do in Europe.

When you consider the crime statistics of illegal immigrants and the costs to Americans of illegal immigration, it's just a matter of time before Americans themselves begin to take matters into their own hands, seeing how our law enforcement agencies turn the other cheek and our government not only refuses to protect us, but continually increases our burden.

While reading up on the issue, I came across this little tidbit:

Perhaps this is the beginning of the real resistance.

When government fails to protect its citizens from violent gangs, it creates a vacuum, and it’s only natural that violent gangs should move in to fill the void. They’re not the kind of people with whom one would sit down to tea and crumpets, but they’ll get the job done.

The good burghers of Whoville sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf. But what if the only rough men that are available are the kind we don’t want to associate with? What if the only people willing to defend our race are… well, racists?

I personally know people in Britain who are going to hold their noses and vote for the BNP. They’re not in the slightest bit racist or anti-Semitic, but the BNP is the only party which is willing to stand up for the country and support a traditional British identity.

That’s why I believe in opening lines of communication to people in all parties that seriously oppose the Great Jihad. Rather than wait until these parties expel all the anti-Semites and become perfect, why not look for those members who already have the opinions we want, but who support the party because they think it’s their only hope?

The anti-Semitism will fall away naturally anyway for a party that wants to become a viable national force. Serious anti-Semites will defect to the other side, because the Muslims are their natural allies, and the rest of us aren’t.

We don’t have the luxury of waiting until all parties become perfect. There isn’t enough time. Make no mistake about it: the big crisis is on its way, and it will reach parts of Europe in ten years or less.

When the time comes, what if the only people who are willing to stand up and oppose Islam are the “racists”? What will the fascistophobes recommend then? That we lie down and die rather than have any truck with race-nationalists? That we submit to the jihad rather than violate the pristine righteousness of our moral state?

In 2020, or 2015, or 2012, as the twilight of Sharia rolls across the land, those who would remain pure in their non-racist principles will still be wringing their hands and wincing in distaste, right up until the last moment, when the cry of “Allahu Akhbar!” resounds as the knife descends upon their necks.

So anyone who intends to survive that moment may want to lie down with the dogs now, even if it means getting up with fleas later. There will be plenty of time afterwards for flea powder — assuming that the Great Jihad can be defeated.

Would you rather be right, or effective?

Ah. The enemy of my enemy argument. The problem is, the only thing the Hells Angels are willing to fight for is control of illegal drug trade and other criminal activity, and at last report, they're busy negotating a truce and turf deal with the moslems.

Reality is, a deal with the devil is just that, a deal with the devil. But law abiding citizens protecting home and hearth, fighting criminals rather than accept and submit, well. That's another story, and one I can get behind and support.

Should we send him back to Africa? If he is not an American, he should renounce his citizenship and leave! I am tired of these black separatists! The white separatists hide in the mountains and forests and try to ignore the rest of us, which is their right. But when the black separatists separate, they still demand things from the Americans. In a video posted on YouTube, Howard is shown on a football field at a charity flag football game. As the national anthem plays in the background, Howard approaches a camera and says: ''The Star Spangled Banner' is going on right now. I don't even celebrate that (expletive). I'm black.'

Howard's agent, Jeff Schwartz, did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment. Donnie Nelson, the Mavericks' president of basketball operations, directed questions to team owner Mark Cuban, who in an e-mail declined to comment."

Former Terrorist’s Advice for Fighting Jihad: Think Globally, Act Locally

CQ Politics | Former Terrorist’s Advice for Fighting Jihad: Think Globally, Act Locally: "The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee received a first-hand account of how young Muslims become radicalized when a former member of an Islamist extremist organization testified Thursday that a combination of a personal crisis of faith and racism he faced as a British teenager steered him toward that ideology.

“The question arose in my mind — was I British? Was I English? Was a I Pakistani? . . . Was I Muslim?” Maajid Nawaz told the committee. Eventually, he said, he met a medical student who introduced him to the idea that he had no national loyalties; he was a member of a worldwide Muslim caliphate.

At 16, Nawaz became a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir, a group associated with the planning and execution of terrorists acts. Nawaz became a leader and recruiter in the organization, and was arrested in Egypt in 2002. He spent four years imprisoned there until Amnesty International arranged for his release as a “prisoner of conscience.”"

Syrian commandos invade seven N. Lebanese villages outside Tripoli

Does anyone want to guess why the Syrians have invaded the part of Lebanon that is not controlled by Hezballah? Could it be that they want to help the terrorists to secure the area? Hmmm.

This is another provocation that is designed to prepare teh region for another war with Israel. Why can't the Muslims just pretend that Israel does not exist? Why can't they just go about their lives without having to preach hate and death?

Praise the Lord that Olmert is leaving, but who will replace him? Will the new leader have the guts to fight and win?

So many questions today.

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report

September 13, 2008, 12:10 PM (GMT+02:00)

Two Syrian commando battalions accompanied by reconnaissance and engineering corps units have crossed into Lebanon in the last 48 hours and taken up positions in seven villages, most of them Allawite Muslim, outside Tripoli, DEBKAfile’s military sources reported Saturday, Sept. 13. They are the vanguard of a large armored force poised on the border.

Damascus has signaled to Washington and Paris: Don’t interfere.

It is the largest Syrian force to invade Lebanon since Damascus was forced to end its occupation of the country in May 2005, three months after former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri was assassinated.

Tripoli is Lebanon’s second-largest city, with half a million inhabitants, most of them Sunni Moslems but including large Christian and Alawite communities.

The Syrian incursion coincided with the expected arrival of Russian naval and engineering experts for renovating Tartus, the Syrian port 40 kilometers north of Tripoli, to serve as the Russian fleet’s first permanent Mediterranean base. Bashar Assad clearly feels he can safely embark on a fresh forei"

Did AlGore bankrupt Lehman Brothers?

I am seeing ties in here that we will never see in the Media. I wonder if Ms. Gorelick was involved in someway?

Thanks Al! You ruin everything you touch!

PS, I have been disgusted by you and your wife since you two fought against the music I like. I am listening to good music right now and you can live in your mansions and listen to your voice preach about how the music the proles like is horrible.

ICECAP: "Al Gore’s carbon trading business GIM was banked with Lehman Bros. It will be interesting to see how this will play in the future but I suspect that this increases the risk of participating in Carbon trading. Merrill Lynch, was also deeply involved in this business.

Last year Lehman Brothers released a long and highly publicized report about climate change in which they preached about decarbonization, trying to make their investors keep getting high profits from the Kyoto carbon trade scheme and the support of huge public subventions. All that, of course, with the applause of the usual choir of politicians, the entire media and the Greens.

A year ago they couldn’t predict their bankruptcy but were predicting the climate 100 years ahead. Thousands of green militants have been using the Lehman report as a proof of global warming and impending chaos. Lehman Bros said it! sacred words! Its scientific advisor is James Hansen! The report is the basis for policies on climate change in Spain, Argentina and several other countries playing the progress game; it is used by economy professors playing the climatologists; by newspapers editorials, and even by a State Secretary: Lehman Bros, said it!

Lehman Brothers spoke in his report about the climate in 2100 and its economic and financial projections, about climate change costs several decades away. They dared to recommend their investors what they considered a central value of the carbon ton in 50 years from now. Their sources and support references were taken from the IPCC AR4, AR3, and so on. Really impressive.

But even with their high ability to peek into the future, they couldn’t predict their demise one year ahead though there were many people that had been warning about this present crash for years. But Lehman Bros were recommending investments 30, 50, 100 years ahead. Some days, reality imitates fiction. Who was Lehman Bros’ ‘scientific’ adviser on climate? You guessed it, James Hansen, the same guy that wants to drive the world to bankruptcy as he did with Lehman’s Bros.

But the story has some connections with Hansen being the ‘scientific’ adviser to Al Gore, who’s the Chairman of the Board of the Alliance for Climate Protection. As seen in Alliance’s website, the managing Director is none less than: Theodore Roosevelt IV. Managing Director, Lehman Brothers, Chair of the Pew Center for Global Climate Change.

Theodore Roosevelt IV is Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and a member of the Firm’s senior client coverage group, which oversees the Firms client and customer relationships. Mr. Roosevelt is an active conservationist. He is Chair of the Pew Center for Global Climate Change, Vice Chair of the Wilderness Society, and a Trustee for the American Museum of Natural History, The World Resources Institute, the Institute for Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming, and a Trustee of Trout Unlimited.

The Lehman reports in two parts can be found on this site ‘Intellectual Capital’. In “The Business of Climate Change ll”, the following acknowledgement is made: “On the scientific side, we are grateful to Dr. James Hansen, Director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, who, at the end of a particularly informative dinner hosted by Ben Cotton of the Man Group, gave generously of his time to clear up a number of scientific questions that had been niggling us. Dr. Peter Collins and Richard Heap of the Royal Society provided valuable input and brought us up to date on the more controversial areas of scientific developments in the domain of global climate change.” H/T Eduardo Ferreyra originally posted to Climate Sceptics Internet discussion group.

Lehman’s failure provides a preview of our future if more companies bank their future on the speculative advice of these advocacy scientists, politicians and environmental groups, while ignoring short term realities. "

Jamie Gorelick, Mistress of Disaster

This is a must read article. Mr Ross has found the links to Ms Gorelick's past and how she is the one who has personally done some of the worst damage to the US ever.

She is the one who put up the wall between the intelligence services so that they could not share information.

She then sat on the 9/11 Commission and ensured that her role in that wall was masked over. (Who put her there?)

But between these two public roles, she was also the bass at Fannie May, where she 'earned' millions while masking the billions in losses they took in what has grown into the Housing Crisis and the Banking Crisis.

Can we arrest her for criminal malfeasance? And who ever put her in these jobs, too? If she was a Republican she would be serving a life sentence! Why is she allowed to walk the streets like an honest person?

It's not often that one person plays key roles in two -- count 'em, two -- trillion-dollar disasters. Welcome, my friends, to the world of well-connected Democrat Jamie Gorelick."
