Disappearance of 100 bars of uranium

I don't think I have to say how much this scares me. WMDs are about the only thing that scares me more than LA traffic, and this is not the kind of story that is going to make me sleep well. The UN "Nuclear Watchdog" is a house pet! All they DO is watch. They have no teeth. I think a battalion of US Marines could guard the worlds uranium better than all the worthless "inspectors" of the UN. I wonder how the Commandant of the Marine Corps would handle shakeing up the UN?

The UN nuclear watchdog and Kinshasa government investigate disappearance of 100 bars of uranium believed smuggled to Iran

March 14, 2007, 12:18 PM (GMT+02:00)

The DR Congo newspaper Le Phare reported the uranium was removed from the nuclear center in Kinshasa as “part of a vast trafficking operation.”

The DR Congo’s commissioner for atomic energy Prof. Fortunat Lumu and an associate have been arrested for allegedly belonging to an international network set up to mine and export uranium illegally in recent years. Tehran is suspected of being behind the affair.

Congo minister of scientific research Sylvanus Mushi said Lumu and his colleague had illegally negotiated partnership deals with foreign companies without government authorization. He said network members had come from Europe, South Africa and the Seychelles.

Congo’s Shinkolobwe mine provided high-quality uranium for the Manhattan Project in World War Two. Belgium sealed the mine by filling it with concrete when Congo gained independence in 1960.

Iraq's Accomplishments in Perspective

A great read for the layman on Iraq issues and the War on Terror. It makes it so simple that even a liberal should be able to grasp it! Amazing! I wonder if liberals will ever read it without someone holding it to their face?

: Iraq's Accomplishments in Perspective: "The chattering class nostrum that Free Iraq and its coalition allies have 'lost the Iraq war' is so blatantly wrong it would be a source of laughter were human life and hope-inspiring liberty not at such terrible risk.

In terms of fundamental historical changes favoring 21st century freedom and peace, what Free Iraq and its Coalition allies have accomplished in four short years is nothing short of astonishing"

BLACKFIVE: One missing , two missing, three missing Iranians

This story is so beautiful that I want to cry. Uncle Jimbo's commentary just adds the insightful yet sarcastic touch that is needed as a topper. The biggest problem is that now I want to know more! Keep mulling this this situation over Mullahs! Mull it long into the night.

BLACKFIVE: One missing , two missing, three missing Iranians: "From Ynet:

Three weeks ago the Iranian armed forces command in Teheran lost contact with a senior officer who had been serving in Iraq with the al-Quds unit of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, according to a senior Iranian official cited in the Wednesday edition of the London-based Arabic daily al-Sharq al-Awsat.

The Iranian source said that it is still unclear why contact with the officer, Colonel Amir Muhammad Shirazi, was lost. 'It is possible that the American forces in Iraq arrested him along with a group of 13 Iranian military and intelligence officials,' he said, adding that this is just one of the scenarios being investigated by Tehran."

This another sick story from Pallywood praising a woman for murdering innocents. They have her two kindergarten children, Dhoha and Muhammad, singing a song to praise her sick assent to 'paradise'. I could puke.

There is nothing graphic, but you might not want to watch this clip unless you have a strong stomache.

ANN: Hello, I'm syndicated columnist and best-selling author Ann Coulter.

BILL: And I'm Bill Maher, host of HBO's 'Real Time.'

ANN: Today we want to talk to you about an issue that concerns both of us: the deterioration of civility in American politics.

BILL: That's right Ann, you anorexic Nazi whore. Even though we are on opposite sides of the political fence we can both agree that Americans of all political stripes need to start walking back from the hateful rhetoric that unfortunately characterizes much of our contemporary political discussion.

ANN: I couldn't agree more Bill, you syphillitic commie scumnozzle. Because whether they are normal patriotic Americans or mincing San Francisco fudgepackers, all citizens of this country need to think first before using words intended to hurt or offend others."

CAIR’s Blood Money by Patrick Poole

FrontPage magazine.com :: CAIR’s Blood Money by Patrick Poole: "At 12:17 pm on February 26, 1993, a 1,500lb urea-nitrate fuel-oil bomb hidden inside a rental van caused a massive explosion that ripped through the parking garage of the World Trade Center, killing six people and injuring another 1,042 – the first large-scale terrorist attack on U.S. soil by Islamic extremists. The terrorists had intended to topple one of the buildings onto the other, potentially killing tens of thousands of innocent Americans. Sadly, the fourteenth anniversary of that event passed last week with very little discussion by major media outlets, even though that lethal attack by Islamic terrorists ominously foreshadowed the unspeakable horror of 9/11.

At 8:00 pm on June 6, 2006, the Ohio affiliate of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OH) honored one of the unindicted conspirators in that 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Siraj Wahhaj, a Brooklyn, NY imam that had also served as a defense witness at the trial of one of the men convicted for that terrorist attack, the “Blind Sheikh” Omar Abdel-Rahman (a conviction that CAIR has labeled “a travesty of justice”). More than 400 CAIR-OH supporters gathered at this fundraising banquet.

Following the event, CAIR-OH issued a press release heralding the more than $100,000 that Siraj Wahhaj had helped "

This is just a good list of the links between CAIR and terrorism and terrorists. You should go read the full article.

Dave Barry Quote - Quotation from Dave Barry - Conservatives Quote - Liberals Quote - Politics Quote - Wisdom Quotes - Dave Barry Quotation: "The Democrats seem to be basically nicer people, but they have demonstrated time and again that they have the management skills of celery. They're the kind of people who'd stop to help you change a flat, but would somehow manage to set your car on fire. I would be reluctant to entrust them with a Cuisinart, let alone the economy. The Republicans, on the other hand, would know how to fix your tire, but they wouldn't bother to stop because they'd want to be on time for Ugly Pants Night at the country club."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I can, and have, changed car tires, but hate it enough that I would probably just go past. I kind of fit as a Republican stereotype I guess!

Jihad Watch: Terrorists Proving Harder to Profile

Jihad Watch: Terrorists Proving Harder to Profile

Change is part of life. The terrorists are learning how to change thier lives so that they can more easily target the innocents. I pity Europe which is only know starting to realize that they are about to be overwhelmed. It will be a lot easier to fight now when the West will just look intolerant than later when it will involve many more lives. The price of continued freedom is either some freedoms from some, or a lot of blood. Do the Europeans remember how to bleed for freedom?

This is a great insight into what is happening to the Islamic radical who are all getting their sorry butts kicked. GOOD!

It is nice to see some of the other countries starting to crack down on this trend too. Maybe it will be over soon. I hope and pray.

FT.com / In depth - Poll surge unsettles French socialists’ bid: "Poll surge unsettles French socialists’ bid

By Martin Arnold in Méaulte

Published: March 12 2007 20:24 | Last updated: March 12 2007 20:24

Ségolène Royal’s faltering presidential campaign was dealt a further blow on Monday as François Hollande, the leader of her Socialist party and father of her children, admitted he was worried she would be knocked out in the first round of France’s election next month.

The comments underlined how worried Ms Royal’s campaign team is about the surprise surge in opinion polls by François Bayrou, candidate of the centrist UDF party, who has caught up with her in opinion polls and been dubbed the third man of the campaign.

Mr Hollande evoked the memory of the socialists’ disastrous performance in the last presidential elections, when far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen came second, eliminating Lionel Jospin, the former prime minister.

He said: “I’ve considered for a long time the prospect of another April 21st” – the date of the last election.

Mr Bayrou, who analysts say is collecting support from voters dissatisfied with the two mainstream party candidates, came level with Ms Royal in a poll published at the weekend.

Analysts interpreted Mr Hollande’s admissio"

I am really glad to see that the Middle East might be gaining a democracy on their own. With all the tyrants in the area, I wonder how long this poor country will last?

This is Part 12 in the series. However, this one has video of the bombs. Scary stuff! Must see stuff! The last two minutes are all a slow motion shot of the bomb going off. Enjoy it, and remember to watch the Muslims on the bus, train or plane. They might have plans like this, too.

Not that I am one to Profile a jihadist. Or have a concealed weapon permit.

SYRIA DEVELOPS BIO-WEAPONS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Syria has advanced in efforts to produce biological missile warheads.

The U.S. intelligence community has determined that the regime of President Bashar Assad was developing an infrastructure for biological weapons production. Officials said Assad has advanced the BW program through help from China and North Korea.

"Syria's biotechnical infrastructure is capable of supporting limited biological agent development," Defense Intelligence Agency director Michael Maples said. "DIA assesses Syria has a program to develop select biological agents."

Maples said Syria has sought to install biological and chemical warheads on its missile arsenal. He said the programs were meant to deter Israel's conventional force superiority.

Syria has been known to have bioweapons for decades. However, the delivery systems are what has been holding them back. The Soviets would not let them develop this capability. Now they are being encouraged by their new patrons. Just another step forward for the world's plunge into the long night.

Children of the Palestinian intifada: The lost generation - International Herald Tribune

Children of the Palestinian intifada: The lost generation - International Herald Tribune

This is a long piece of liberal trash in most respects. The author is working very hard to get the readers to feel sorry for the sorry state of affairs in Palestine. He does not touch upon the fact that the reason there is no economy in these areas is that the terror groups destroy anything, and anyone, that comes in to help. They are the ultimate in victims. There is no such thing as a 50 year old refugee camp! Get real! If they are still living in tents after all this time it is because they want to, not because the millions, billions?, of dollars in aid have been kept away. There are no jobs because the only jobs allowed by the terrorists have to be related to the jihad. They have ruined themselves.

If the UN could do the job it was created for, these camps would have been broken up decades ago. As it currently stands, I think the only possible solution is to break the Palestinians into family groups and send them to other countries where they can slowly learn to rejoin humanity. Humans do not worship death! This is yet another major flaw in the Palestinian people. If you can find another solution, please let me know.
