The Two Things To Know Before Your City is Nuked By Terrorists::By Douglas MacKinnon

I am not ready, but I am mentally prepared. I am expecting it every morning when I arise. As it says in this article: it is not a question of 'if', it is a question of when and where. I will miss all the history in Washington and New York.

Townhall.com::The Two Things To Know Before Your City is Nuked By Terrorists::By Douglas MacKinnon: "In a recent conversation with a former high level intelligence operative of our government, I raised the possibility of terrorists successfully detonating a nuclear weapon within the United States. His response was sobering in its hopelessness.

First, he stressed how grateful he was that he did not work in Washington, DC, and that his family lived far enough out to survive the coming nuclear blast. When I pressed him as to why he was so sure that Islamic terrorists – with or without the help of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez – would eventually hit DC or another American city with a nuclear weapon, his anger boiled out.

He pointed the finger squarely at our politicians and our politically correct, left-leaning media, who, in his opinion, have “sealed our fate.” He spoke of politicians from both sides of the aisle who consider border security nothing more than a cheap tool to be used for their reelection and enrichment. He despaired about a media that not only gleefully leaks our nation’s most trusted secrets for partisan gain, but then willingly acts as a propaganda tool for the very terrorists intent on our total destruction."

Is it illegitimate to defend ourselves?

This is an excellent article examining the way to educate ourselves about Islam and the threat of the Islamists. It is past time that the secular leaders of the West started to learn this and learn from the past history of Islam as a peaceful practice. Notice that anyone who quotes the Koran back to the Islamists is now being sued by the Islamists. Lawfare is getting very dangerous to the laws of the West. Read this article and learn more about it.

Jihad Watch: Fitzgerald: Is it illegitimate to defend ourselves?: "No Infidels need any longer accept the word of tireless apologists as to what those texts say, or what their 'meaning' is, especially when we have all been treated to example after example of Tu-Quoque-and-Taqiyya, sometimes by omission, sometimes by deliberate misinterpretation for the limitlessly naive. Furthermore, we have the long historical record of Jihad-conquest, and the texts, written by Muslims themselves, on the subject of the necessity of Jihad, and the rules of Jihad -- here again, see Bostom's sourcebook, The Legacy of Jihad. We have 1350 years of such a record, and are entitled to study that record, from Spain in the west to what is present-day Indonesia in the east. We can study how non-Muslim populations slowly or quickly were reduced in size: what happened to the Copts of Egypt? What happened to the Jews and Armenians under Shah Abbas II in Iran? What happened to the Christians and Jews of the Arabian peninsula? What happened to the Christians of North Africa, where Tertullian and St. Augustine once lived? What happened to the Hindus of India under Muslim rule? Was it all wonderful, or is there reason to think that K. S. Lal and other Indian historians are right in their claim that between 60 and 70 million Hindus lost their lives? What was the historical record of Arab Muslims and slavery in Black Africa? Splendid? A tale of Muslim Wilberforces, long predating the English one? When was slavery formerly abolished in Arabia, and why? And is there any evidence of the continuance of slavery in Arab Muslim countries? And is there any evidence that Muslim scholars today have written about the continuing, indeed permanent, legitimacy of slavery, because it was recognized and accepted by Muhammad?"

U.S. Studying Two Dozen 'Clusters' of Possible Homegrown Terrorists

Of course the terrorist supporters are complaining! That, naturally, also means the Leftists in the media will have to attack this report as flawed.

Al Qaeda wrote, a long time ago, that individuals need to become martyrs in the cause for Allah and the caliphate. This has inspired many attacks around the globe. The stuff in this report is nothing new, unless you are a highly paid journalist who ignores the news.

The Blotter: Exclusive: U.S. Studying Two Dozen 'Clusters' of Possible Homegrown Terrorists: "The report identifies mosques, bookstores, cafes, prisons and flop houses as what it calls 'radicalization incubators' that provide 'extremist fodder or fuel for radicalization.'

The leader of an American Arab civil rights group labeled the NYPD report as 'unfortunate stereotyping' and at odds with federal law enforcement findings that the threat from homegrown terrorists was minimal. 'It is completely un-American; it goes against everything we stand for,' said Kareem Shora, executive director of the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. 'We do not want to alienate any segment of any community, and by using that language you are actually aiding the extremists in their recruiting efforts.'

The NYPD report, ABC News sources said, concludes that while al Qaeda can provide inspiration and an 'ideological reference point,' instances of command and control by al Qaeda are the exception rather than the rule."

Bishop urges Christians to call God 'Allah'

If I get this right, the title of God is to be stripped off of the almighty after the many millennium and we will use the title Allah which is used by the terrorists? And this will stop them from killing us? When will Christians stop talking to Christ to appease the terrorists? This guy sounds like he is already started paying the jizya!

Sura (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

WorldNetDaily: Bishop urges Christians to call God 'Allah': "Catholic churches in the Netherlands should use the name Allah for God to ease tensions between Muslims and Christians, says a Dutch bishop.

Tiny Muskens, the bishop of Breda, told the Dutch TV program 'Network' Monday night he believes God doesn't mind what he is called, Radio Netherlands Worldwide reported.

The Almighty is above such 'discussion and bickering,' he insisted.

Muskens points to Indonesia, where he served 30 years ago, as an example for Dutch churches. Christians in the Middle East also use the term Allah for God.

'Someone like me has prayed to Allah yang maha kuasa (Almighty God) for eight years in Indonesia and other priests for 20 or 30 years,' Muskens said. 'In the heart of the Eucharist, God is called Allah over there, so why can't we start doing that together?'"

Still not as hot as the 1930s

Inside the Beltway -- The Washington Times, America's Newspaper: "D.C. resident John Lockwood was conducting research at the Library of Congress and came across an intriguing Page 2 headline in the Nov. 2, 1922 edition of The Washington Post: 'Arctic Ocean Getting Warm; Seals Vanish and Icebergs Melt.' The 1922 article, obtained by Inside the Beltway, goes on to mention 'great masses of ice have now been replaced by moraines of earth and stones,' and 'at many points well-known glaciers have entirely disappeared.'
'This was one of several such articles I have found at the Library of Congress for the 1920s and 1930s,' says Mr. Lockwood. 'I had read of the just-released NASA estimates, that four of the 10 hottest years in the U.S. were actually in the 1930s, with 1934 the hottest of all.'

Worth pondering
Reacting yesterday to word that certain European governments and officials are suddenly trying to abandon their costly 'global warming' policies, Royal Astronomical Society fellow Benny Peiser, of the science faculty at Liverpool John Moores University in Great Britain, recalls the teachings of Marcus Aurelius: 'The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.'"

Hamas militiamen beat protesters in Gaza - Yahoo! News

Hamas "security men"? Sounds like terrorist thugs too me. It sounds like Hamas is enjoying the hold it has on Gaza! It is hard to convert a bunch of murderers into a security force. It is harder to convert a terrorist cell into a governing body. HA! The few poor civilians in the middle are the ones who pay, but I do not pity them much.

Hamas militiamen beat protesters in Gaza - Yahoo! News: "Security men for Gaza's Hamas rulers clubbed and slammed rifle butts into opponents staging a rare protest Monday, seizing the cameras of journalists covering the event and raiding media offices to prevent news footage from getting out.

The Islamic militant group claims it is willing to tolerate dissent, but the crackdown was the latest in a series of moves to squash opposing voices, including breaking up private parties Friday and Monday where people were singing songs of the rival Fatah movement.

After Hamas gunmen in the Gaza Strip routed forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah in five days of fighting in June, the group declared an amnesty for former Fatah fighters.

Yet when Fatah and allied groups announced plans for Monday's rally, Hamas banned 'all demonstrations and public gatherings' that do not have official permission."

Police on terror alert over theft of top secret records on computer database | News | This is London

I hope the encryption is better than usual on this data! I also hope that the computer is recovered really really soon! And that the terrorists or criminals who stole it get a bullet behind the ear.

Police on terror alert over theft of top secret records on computer database | News | This is London: "The raid at the high-security head office of Forensic Telecommunication Services Ltd (FTS) at Sevenoaks, Kent, raised fears that vital evidence from undercover investigations may have been lost or have fallen into the wrong hands. The theft of such sensitive data will reopen the debate about whether private companies should be employed to carry out crucial security or Government work under contract. The stolen computer server - a metal box the size of a large DVD player - contained details of who made calls on mobiles, their exact location and precisely when the calls were made. Evidence from phone taps is one of the most important tools in the war on terrorism and in major police investigations into organised crime, murder, kidnap, armed robbery, tax evasion and illegal immigration."
