Atomic Bomb Plans Still For Sale

Just ask the Peace Groups, it is fine for Third World barbarians to have nukes as long as the US does not. This network is partly compromised and still vary dangerous. Maybe it is time to kill them all.

NBC Weapons: Atomic Bomb Plans Still For Sale: "The UN IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) has continued investigating Pakistani nuclear weapons scientist A Q Khan's illegal nuclear weapons technology smuggling organization. IAEA believes that Khan's group not only had a wider reach than previously thought, but is still in business.

Khan himself recently admitted that the Pakistani Army knew he was selling nuclear weapons secrets to Iran, Iraq and North Korea. Previously, he had insisted that he, and his small group of accomplices, had done it all themselves."

Terror groups developing 'dirty bomb', say security chiefs

People like to tell me that the Pakistanis and the other Muslims would never allow a terrorist to get their bloody hands on a nuke. I fear otherwise. Pakistan is a very dangerous place. It is time to get the nukes out of there and return them when the crisis is over.

Terror groups developing 'dirty bomb', say security chiefs - Telegraph: "At least one plot has been uncovered involving Pakistani-based terrorists planning to use nuclear material against a major European target.

Osama bin Laden's al-Qa'eda terror group, whose terrorist infrastructure is based in the province of Waziristan in northwest Pakistan, is known to be trying to acquire nuclear technology to use in terror attacks against the West.

Other militant Islamist groups in Pakistan, such as the newly formed Pakistani Taliban, have also shown an interest in developing weapons with a nuclear capability, according to Western security officials.

Security chiefs fear the mounting political instability in Pakistan will make it easier for militant Islamist groups to develop a primitive nuclear device.

Pakistan is the world's only Muslim country with a nuclear weapons arsenal, which was developed during the 1990s by the rogue Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadir (AQ) Khan."

Dutch sabotage agent recalled from Iran over “impending” US attack - report

Is Bush going to slap down the Iranians before he leaves office? He needs to smack them and force them to stop aiding terrorists! It will lead to terror attacks all over the world, but that is what we have to expect from a terrorist state.

DEBKAfile - Dutch sabotage agent recalled from Iran over “impending” US attack - report: "A Dutch AIVD Secret Service ultra-secret operation underway in Iran in recent years has been halted and an agent recalled in view of “impending US plans to attack Iran,” within weeks, writes Joost de Haas, known for his good intelligence contacts, in the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

The AIVD operation aimed to infiltrate and sabotage the weapons [and nuclear] industry in the Islamic Republic.

According to intelligence sources in the Netherlands, the US [or Israel] was expected to make a decision within weeks to attack nuclear plants with unmanned aircraft, used to avoid risking the lives of air crews and warplanes.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report this would be the first time drones operated by remote control were used against major strategic targets, necessary in Israel’s case to hold its air fleet and flight crews ready to defend the country against reprisal from Iran’s allies. Syria and the Lebanese Hizballah have stockpiled thousands of rockets for this purpose.

The Iranian targets to be bombed would include also military installations brought to light partly by the Dutch espionage operation, described by De Telegraaf as extremely successful. “One of the agents was able to infiltrate the Iranian industry” and for years shared information with the... "

Taliban Claims Responsibility for Homicide Blasts That Killed 59 in Pakistan

I am worried about the hints that this was a nuclear processing facility for the Pakistani nuclear program. I do not think that the new Pakistani government is strong enough to stand up on its own feet yet and they might lose control over these weapons. I am praying that a F117 might be out of retirement, or a B2 might be standing by just in case the bombs need to be destroyed before the terrorists can get them.

Who can intervene? If it is the US, then we will be denounced as warmongers and evil - but what else is new. If it is India, then that is the reason why Pakistan developed Nuclear weapons in the first place! They fear a take over by the Hindus they persecuted for centuries. China might want to do it, because of the Pakistani terrorists now infiltrating China to cause trouble there. However, none of these will be tolerable to even the most enlightened and Westernized Pakistanis.

I recommend just taking the weapons to the US and returning them when the situation is stabilized. If it can't be stabilized, then Islam will just be in control and Muslim areas are rarely stable anyway.

FOXNews.com - Taliban Claims Responsibility for Homicide Blasts That Killed 59 in Pakistan - International News | News of the World | Middle East News | Europe News: "Twin Taliban homicide bombings at Pakistan's largest weapons complex killed at least 59 people Thursday, heightening the turmoil following Pervez Musharraf's ouster as president.

The ruling coalition, made up of traditional rivals who were united primarily in their determination to force Musharraf from office, meanwhile appeared to be veering toward collapse. The two main parties have been unable to bridge key differences such as whether judges fired by Musharraf should be quickly reinstated and who should succeed him as president.

Pakistanis have urged the civilian government to stop bickering and turn quickly to tackling the country's problems from an economic downturn to extremist violence in the volatile northwest, where fighting between security forces and Islamic militants has escalated in recent weeks.

The bombers struck two different gates of the government weapons complex just as workers were leaving. The complex, comprising 12 factories, is located in Wah, a garrison city 20 miles west of the capital, Islamabad.

Moscow accuses Israel of arming Georgia - day before Assad arrives for big arms purchases

Now the Soviets want to put their nukes everywhere they can to intimidate others. The US pulls their nuclear arsenal back to US soil, so the Soviets do the opposite. They are TRYING to instigate another Cold War. They know from press reports that the US elections are coming and neither candidate looks that strong so the Kremlin can get away with murder and no one will tell them they did wrong.

Nukes in Syria? That sounds like a prelude to a war with Israel. They will not tolerate that kind of direct threat and will destroy the missiles on enemy soil. Let the Syrians and their masters in Iran and Moscow figure out how to clean up the mess.

DEBKAfile - Moscow accuses Israel of arming Georgia - day before Assad arrives for big arms purchases: "The timing was precise. Tuesday, Aug. 19, the Russian Deputy Chief of General Staff Col.-Gen. Anatoly Nagovitsyn accused Israel at a Moscow news conference of arming and training the Georgian military.

Wednesday, Syrian president Bashar Assad arrives in the Russian capital for a two-day visit during which the Kremlin fully expects him to exploit the storm clouds blowing in from Georgia over Russian relations with the West to press for sophisticated weapons systems not so far released by Moscow.

On Aug. 17, DEBKAfile military sources reported Moscow's planned retaliation for America's missile interceptors in Poland and US-Israeli military aid to Georgia may come in the form of Iskandar surface missiles installed in Syria and its Baltic enclave of Kaliningrad.

Russian Baltic and Middle East warships, submarines and long-range bombers may be armed with nuclear warheads.

One plan on the table in Moscow to punish Israel, DEBKAfile's sources report, is the establishment of big Russian military, naval and air bases in Syria and the release of advanced weapons systems withheld until now from Iran (the S-300 air-missile defense system) and Syria (the nuclear-capable 200 km-range Iskandar surface missile).

T prepare the ground, Gen. Nagovitsyn charged Israel with arming the Georgian military with mines, explo"

Russians move 2 SS-21 Medium Range Ballistic Missile Launchers into South Ossetia

Muslims with chemical weapons in the US, Soviets with nukes in Georgia. Is the West going to be destroyed in the next couple of years?

Does this that it could be too late for NATO to interfere? Like they could anyway. If Russia has short range nukes in Georgia then the EU will sell out the remainder of that poor country so that they can feel less threatened. Peace at all costs. Sieg heil, Herr Commisar.

Russians move 2 SS-21 Medium Range Ballistic Missile Launchers into South Ossetia « Free & Independent: "Col. Sam Gardiner notes, in an interview with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now, Russia has deployed tactical nuclear weapons to South Ossetia. The SS-21 Missile launchers are relatively weak compared to bombs that have already been used against Georgia by the Russian air force. However, this move does indicate Russia is potentially upping the game from a conventional weapons war to a tactical nuclear weapons war. Gardiner notes that at a news conference on Sunday, the US Deputy National Security advisor has noted these weapons arriving in South Ossetia.

Tehran hosts Assad to celebrate winning nuclear dispute with West and cooling of US-Israel ties

I guess that Iran has every reason to celebrate their win. Too bad their win makes the world more unstable. Will this be the legacy of Bush? A stable Iraq and Middle East because they have to be united in perpetual war against the Iranians?

What a horrible thought.

DEBKAfile - Tehran hosts Assad to celebrate winning nuclear dispute with West and cooling of US-Israel ties: "The Syrian president Bashar Assad was due to visit Tehran in a week’s time. The trip was brought forward to Saturday, Aug. 2 to coincide with the deadline the six powers gave Iran for an answer to its offer of benefits in return for its consent to suspend uranium enrichment – or face a fourth round of sanctions.

DEBKAfile’s Middle East sources report: Iranian and Syrian rulers are so pleased with their unforeseen success in outmaneuvering the West that they called an urgent summit for follow-up planning.

When a line of Iranian leaders rejected the ultimatum on their “right” to develop a nuclear program, Washington responded mildly “we are not counting the days”, while the European Union said there was no hurry. In any case, as DEBKAfile reports in a separate article on this page, a huge German energy deal with Iran has drawn the sting of any prospective penalties.

The Syrian-Iranian get-together also follows the failure of top Israeli leaders traveling to Washington in the past three weeks to persuade the Bush administration of the urgency of considering military action against Iran’s nuclear installations – or at least backing an Israeli operation.

Transport minister Shaul Mofaz was the last arrival after chief of staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, foreign minister Tzipi Livni and defense minister Ehud Barak.

Iran’s supreme ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, president Mahmoud Ahminejad and Assad can therefore pat each others backs over the cooling of US-Israeli strategic relations in on top of their other successes.

DEBKAfile’s analysts report that their feats owe more to the way the West plays into their hands than their own ingenuity:

1. In mid-June, the Bush administration decided to embark on a secret dialogue with the Islamic Republic. DEBKA-Net-Weekly was the first publication to expose this radical turn of events and to trace its progress. After procuring a direct line for business with US government leaders, and wrapping up deals, mostly behind Israel’s back, on the burning issues of oil pricing, Iraq and Lebanon, Iran nullified any leverage Washington had. Tehran can now afford to make light of the six-power ultimatum on its nuclear activities.

2. At about the same time, Israel entered into peace talks with Syria through Turkish mediation. The result: While Iran was developing its back-door rapprochement with the US, the Syrian ruler had hit the jackpot for buying back international legitimacy and a respected role in Middle East politics, without giving up his warm ties with Tehran or his sponsorship of terror.

Damascus can now afford to dump its diplomatic track with Israel as soon as Ehud Olmert steps down as prime minister in September.

The insistence of Olmert’s would-be successors – Livni and Mofaz from his own Kadima and Labor leader Barak – on continuing the talks with Syria, on condition that Assad pulls away from Tehran – not only mislead the public about their purpose, but feed the Damascus-Tehran alliance which is aimed against Israel.

3. French president Nicolas Sarkozy gave Assad a massive boost to the stability of his regime when he hosted him as the guest of honor at the last French Bastille Day parade. Sarkozy assured him then that he would act through the UN Security Council to abolish the international tribunal set up to prosecute the murderers of former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri in 2005. This let the chief suspects, Assad’s close kin and intelligence chiefs, off the hook.

4. A torrent of studies suddenly coming out of US think tanks in recent weeks shows how hard American research and intelligence circles are leaning on the administration to expand its dialogue with Tehran. Bush is being urged to call off sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program and withdraw US backing from Iran’s disaffected minorities’ revolt against the Islamic regime – all for the purpose of putting US-Iranian relations on a normal footing."

U.S. official: Iraqis told me WMDs sent to Syria

Well, more proof yet that the US covered up the existence of the Iraqi WMD.
Why the cover up?
Why not just find the weapons and destroy them? Even if it means we have to invade another hostile country?

The world is not safer with anyone having these kinds of weapons. Especially unstable countries.

U.S. official: Iraqis told me WMDs sent to Syria: "A former American overseer of Iraqi prisons says several dozen inmates who were members of Saddam Hussein's military and intelligence forces boasted of helping transport weapons of mass destruction to Syria and Lebanon in the three months prior to Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Don Bordenkircher – who served two years as national director of prison and jail operations in Iraq– told WND that about 40 prisoners he spoke with 'boasted of being involved in the transport of WMD warheads to Syria.'

A smaller number of prisoners, he said, claimed 'they knew the locations of the missile hulls buried in Iraq.'

Some of the inmates, Bordenkircher said, 'wanted to trade their information for a release from prison and were amenable to showing the locations.'

The prisoners were members of the Iraqi military or civilians assigned to the Iraqi military, often stationed at munitions facilities, according to Bordenkircher. He said he was told the WMDs were shipped by truck into Syria, and some ended up in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley."

Iran: The Israeli Threat

The Iranian Mullahs are spending fortunes on military hardware to protect their super expensive nuclear programs. Naturally, this is leading to some discontent as the rest of the country is falling apart. Let's keep the pressure up and see how long it takes for them to collapse.

Iran: The Israeli Threat: "The government continues to fight on several fronts. At home, the secret police have managed to neutralize student reform organizations by jailing the leaders of any groups that show up. Adult reformers are easier to deal with. Threaten their livelihoods, and ability to support their families, and they are tamed. That leaves the Internet pests, who are particularly troublesome because they stay hidden and pass information to foreigners. Attempts to police the Internet have been stymied by exiled Iranians passing on technical tips on how to avoid such censorship. So while there are fewer political demonstrations, the population still seethes, and grows more unruly. Newspapers are now banned if they report economic problems. That sort of things is making people angrier than the loss of political freedom.

In Iraq, things are not going well at all. Last year's surge offensive destroyed al Qaeda, and this year rolled on to crush the pro-Iranian Mahdi Army. Meanwhile, the Iranian backed Badr Brigade (the military arm of the ISCI, or Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq) kept their heads down and played by the rules of electoral politics. While ISCI was kept alive for years inside Iran, they have not shown a lot of gratitude. Most ISCI members are not willing to turn Iraq into a junior partner in Iran's Islamic world empire. ISCI wants more power within Iraq, and doesn't want to share it with Iran."

Iran doubles uranium-enriching centrifuges to 6,000 – Ahmadinejad

The UN is good for what exactly? Not intimidating bad guys into line!

If we, the Free World, wish to stop Iran, we need to give them a nuke or two. In the same locations as the centrifuges. Quickly.

DEBKAfile - Iran doubles uranium-enriching centrifuges to 6,000 – Ahmadinejad: "Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Saturday, July 26: “Islamic Iran today possesses 6,000 centrifuges at the uranium enrichment plant in Natanz.

He said the US, Britain, France, Russian, China and Germany, the nations whose officials met the Iranian nuclear negotiator last Saturday in Geneva, “had tempered their demands.” They asked Iran not to freeze enrichment but rather not to expand its current program beyond 6,000 centrifuges, according to Tehran radio. Ahmadinejad clarified this by saying: “Today, they have consented that the existing 5,000 or 6,000 centrifuges not be increased and the operation of this number is not a problem.”"

Iraq War Media Deceptions 101

SBVOR: Iraq War Media Deceptions 101: "1) Iraq had WMD stockpiles and the United Nations knew it!

If Saddam had no stockpiles of WMD, how do you explain 17 UN Security Council Resolutions over a period of 12 years, 14 of which deal directly with WMD?

Pay special attention to UNSCR 1441, which essentially said to Saddam (paraphrasing):

“Better hide the WMD, The United States will be invading 30 days from today”

But, that notice was given on 11/8/02 and we did not invade until 3/20/03. No wonder we have not found most of the WMD which the United Nations KNEW was there!

Even so, ISG, post war, REPORTED they found limited quantities of WMD. ISG also found clear evidence of intent to produce more WMD, including thermonuclear weapons. They failed to find clear evidence of large quantities of recently manufactured WMD. But, they were also:

“unable to rule out the possibility that WMD was evacuated to Syria before the war.”

Various other sources offer evidence that the WMD was evacuated to Syria.

Given fighter jets were buried in the desert, there clearly exists the possibility that WMD was buried in the desert."

Mediterranean union wants to rid Mideast of WMDs

This 'union' sounds predestined to fail. But it is a nice idea.

Mediterranean union wants to rid Mideast of WMDs: "Forty-three nations, including Israel and Arab states, pledged Sunday to work for a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction at the close of a summit to launch an unprecedented Union for the Mediterranean aimed at securing peace across the restive region.

In a final declaration, Israel, Syria, the Palestinians along with countries across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa agreed to 'pursue a mutually and effectively verifiable Middle East Zone free of weapons of mass destruction.'

The countries committed to 'consider practical steps to prevent the proliferation' of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and their delivery systems. It was unclear, however, how the signatories—who included Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Syrian President Bashar Assad—would enforce the pledge.

Israel is widely believed to have a stockpile of nuclear weapons but neither confirms nor denies it has them—an ambiguity meant to scare potential enemies from considering an annihilating attack while denying them the rationale for developing their own nuclear deterrent."

Between a rock and the hardest of places

So much logic that you know she is not a Liberal!

The demonization of Israel is almost complete so that the Arabs can slaughter the Jews and Europe will cheer. At least in the Muslim and Leftist regions. Ms Phillips is correct that the Left will pay for this tacit support by having to either cave in to Iranian demands or fighting the war they have been avoiding.

When appeasers finally discover how stupid they are, they have to blame others for their folly as the rational people have to clean up the mess they made. Sometimes it does not pay to be rational.

The Spectator: "It is very noticeable that, although Ahmadinejad and co regularly threaten the annihilation of Israel and are building the weapons to carry that out, there are – in Britain, at any event -- no expressions of horror or outrage, no statements of solidarity and commitment to prevent this second Holocaust from ever taking place. The reason is that a silent calculation has been made -- that Israel is eminently expendable.

Horrific as is such indifference to genocide, what such people fail to grasp is that a nuclear Iran will hold the rest of the world to ransom and force it to meet the demands of an apocalyptic messianic Islamist sect. That is not something with which the west can learn to live. If that were to happen, the west would die. But people also find Ahmadinejad’s bloodcurdling threats too ridiculous to be taken seriously – the mistake the west has consistently made about Islamic fanaticism, viewing it as it does through the prism of the arrogant western illusion that everyone in the world is at root a rational actor governed by a rational understanding of his own self-interest.

The outcome of this terminal frivolity is that since neither Israel nor the west can live with a nuclear Iran, the last resort of war may have to be activated – but it could have been avoided had the west not behaved over these past years with such reckless spinelessness. There can be no doubt that war with Iran is a fearsome prospect which might well unleash heaven knows what horrors. But there’s a worse prospect yet – a nuclear Iran. We are between a rock and a very hard place indeed."

Analysis: Will terrorists go nuclear?

Of course the terrorists want something with a big boom! They love to demonstrate power. The ones who want bioweapons do not want power, they want deaths. They want to destroy life on this planet. They are pure evil.

This article is simple enough for even a Liberal to understand. I think. I have trouble reading down to that level, so it might be too advanced still. You might want to forward it to your Liberal friends so that they can understand what the Experts fear.

Analysis: Will terrorists go nuclear? - UPI.com: "One recurring question that has been at the forefront of most intelligence agencies since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks by al-Qaida on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon just 1 mile outside Washington concerns the ongoing efforts by terrorist groups to acquire weapons of mass destruction: chemical, biological and mostly nuclear.

Each of the NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) weapons comes with a certain advantage and disadvantage -- for the terrorist, that is."

Smugglers Had Design For Advanced Warhead

I love how this dangerous information was just floating around for sale. I am glad that I left city life! In the modern world the cities are becoming too dangerous to live in. The terrorists aren't going to waste a nuke on a small town in rural no-where where I live.

Smugglers Had Design For Advanced Warhead: "An international smuggling ring that sold bomb-related parts to Libya, Iran and North Korea also managed to acquire blueprints for an advanced nuclear weapon, according to a draft report by a former top U.N. arms inspector that suggests the plans could have been shared secretly with any number of countries or rogue groups.

The drawings, discovered in 2006 on computers owned by Swiss businessmen, included essential details for building a compact nuclear device that could be fitted on a type of ballistic missile used by Iran and more than a dozen developing countries, the report states.

The computer contents -- among more than 1,000 gigabytes of data seized -- were recently destroyed by Swiss authorities under the supervision of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency, which is investigating the now-defunct smuggling ring previously led by Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan.

But U.N. officials cannot rule out the possibility that the blueprints were shared with others before their discovery, said the report's author, David Albright, a prominent nuclear weapons expert who spent four years researching the smuggling network.

"These advanced nuclear weapons designs may have long ago been sold off to some of the most treacherous regimes in the world," Albright wrote in a draft report about the blueprint's discovery. A copy of the report, expected to be published later this week, was provided to The Washington Post."

Israeli minister says alternatives to attack on Iran running out

Can we just file this under "Duh!"? I think that even the West knows that not moving soon will create a major new threat, but it is one that the emotionally beaten down West would rather whine about than stop.

Israeli minister says alternatives to attack on Iran running out: "An Israeli deputy prime minister on Friday warned that Iran would face attack if it pursues what he said was its nuclear weapons programme.

'If Iran continues its nuclear weapons programme, we will attack it,' said Shaul Mofaz, who is also transportation minister.

'Other options are disappearing. The sanctions are not effective. There will be no alternative but to attack Iran in order to stop the Iranian nuclear programme,' Mofaz told the Yediot Aharonot daily.

He stressed such an operation could only be conducted with US support.

A former defence minister and armed forces chief of staff, Mofaz hopes to replace embattled Ehud Olmert as prime minister and at the helm of the Kadima party."

Iran Achieves a Four-Front Missile Command, Breakthrough on Nuclear Missile Warheads

I have some Liberal acquaintances who think that Iran and Syria are at war because they are not the same Muslim sect. HAHAHAHA!

How dangerous is it that the Iranians and Syrians are "combining" their missile commands? The Iranians have already been mainly in control and this is just going to consolidate their control. I wonder how the Syrians feel about being the Iranian butt monkeys?

DEBKAfile - Iran Achieves a Four-Front Missile Command, Breakthrough on Nuclear Missile Warheads: "DEBKAfile’s military sources disclose that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps have created a separate missile command, in which Syria’s missile force is to be integrated. The joint command was formalized in a new mutual defense treaty signed by the Syrian defense minister, Gen. Hassan Turkmani in Tehran last week.

Israeli military sources judge the operational merger of Iranian and Syrian missile corps to be a major strategic hazard to the Jewish state.

Western and Israeli military experts connect it with other indications that Iran’s program for developing missiles capable of delivering nuclear payloads has gone into high gear and reached an advanced stage. They believe the Iranians have beaten most of the technical difficulties holding it up."

FBI Warns: New al-Qaida WMD Threat

Another day, another threat. Is it terrorists desperate to seem relevant or Bush trying to scare people?

I know which I think!

Newsmax.com - FBI Warns: New al-Qaida WMD Threat: "The FBI issued a bulletin to 18,000 law enforcement agencies this week warning that al-Qaida has made new threats to use weapons of mass destruction against U.S. targets.

ABC News reported late Tuesday that intelligence sources have confirmed that al-Qaida plans to release a new video on the web sometime tomorrow. U.S. intelligence believes the terror group will advise its 'jihadists to use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons to attack the West.'

An FBI spokesman confirmed the threat 'calling for the use of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) against civilians.' The U.S. has no 'intelligence of any specific plot or indication of a threat to the U.S.,' the Bureau spokesman said. Still, the FBI has taken the precautionary step of alerting other agencies of the potential threat.

Such threats are not unusual for the Bureau. Earlier this year, Dr. Vahid Majidi, the bureau’s assistant director in charge of the WMD Directorate, told Newsmax that the FBI gets at least several dozen cases a year involving weapons of mass destruction. [My emphasis]

The Bureau takes such threats seriously."

Bolton: Little Alternative to Iran Strike

Why can't we get Mr Bolton for Vice President? Or Sec of State? Or anything to keep him helping to make policy? I would vote for him over any of the three Liberals running for President today.

This guy is a genius who tells it straight. We need more people like him in Washington.

Newsmax.com - Bolton: Little Alternative to Iran Strike: "Military action against Iran would be a last resort but the United States and its allies have not done enough to promote the alternative, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said on Wednesday.

John Bolton, who was a leading hawk in President George W. Bush's administration, told an audience at the Hay literary Festival that five years of 'failed' negotiation with Iran over its nuclear program had left just two options for dealing with the issue -- regime change and use of force.

'The use of military force is an extremely unattractive option and only to be used as a last resort,' he said, adding he would favor regime change.

Bolton said the elements for regime change were present in Iran -- the economy was in difficulties, young Iranians could see the possibility of a different life and there were ethnic tensions within the country.

But he added that the United Nations and its allies had not done enough to bring about the required change.

'I wish that we had had a much more vigorous policy five years ago,' he said."

First documentary evidence Iran is into nuclear explosives, missile warhead design

First evidence? I thought there was a lot of evidence that was all ignored. Well, I am not an expert, but I thought it was now common knowledge that Iran was building nukes and preparing to make the only fertile area in the region into radioactive waste.

Well, except for the Left, who WANT to kill the Jews because Papa Joe Stalin hated Jews and killed tens of thousands of them. Not quite as many as Hitler, but, hey, not every thug Socialist can be that efficient.

About time the UN decided to admit that Iran might not be telling the truth. Now if they could stop raping little kids in Africa. What a worthless body of freaks.

DEBKAfile - First documentary evidence Iran is into nuclear explosives, missile warhead design: "The International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna based its new and damning findings partly on 18 intelligence documents submitted by the United States, and now accuse Tehran of willful lack of cooperation. Iran dismissed the documents as forged or fabricated.

DEBKAfile reports that the documents came from materials contained in a laptop stolen from one of the heads of Iran’s nuclear program in Tehran in late 2006 by Iranian dissidents. It was passed to the CIA. Despite this evidence of an ongoing nuclear weapons program, sixteen US intelligence agencies, including the CIA, combined last year to announce this program was suspended in 2003.

Even the nuclear watchdog’s director Mohammed ElBaradei, who often meets the Iranians halfway, has concluded that Iran’s nuclear activities are of “serious concern” and require “substantial explanations.” which Tehran has refused to offer.

His latest report describes Iran’s installation of new IR-2 and IR-3 centrifuges for enriching uranium at the Natanz site as “significant” yet not communicated to his agency. IAEA inspectors on a visit in April were denied access to the sites where the centrifuges are manufactured and the scientists involved. Some, the report states, were produced by Iran’s “military” (a reference to the Revolutionary Guards corps which is in charge of Iran’s nuclear weapons industry).

An official connected to the watchdog disclosed that since December, the Iranians have processed close to 150 kilograms, double the amount produced in the same period 18 months ago.

The watchdog director’s report was released Monday, May 26, to the IAEA’s 35-member board of directors and the UN Security Council, and will be discussed by the board next week."
