Dad of rescued women hails security firm - - The Washington Times, America's Newspaper

About time that Blackwater got good press again. Thank you guy! Good work!

Dad of rescued women hails security firm - - The Washington Times, America's Newspaper: "Dean VanderMey, executive director of Set Free Ministries International, a nondenominational Christian ministry in Grand Rapids, Mich., that operates throughout Africa, said daughters Brittanie, 21, and Aubrie, 19, and their friend Jamie Cook, 20, owe their lives to Blackwater's 'dedicated professionals.'

The women were rescued Sunday from an orphanage at which they were working in a remote area of Kenya after countrywide election results were bitterly disputed, sparking mob violence that killed nearly 500 people.

They arrived home safely in Grand Rapids on Monday after Blackwater operatives picked them up at an airstrip near the orphanage in the village of Kimilili. They were flown to Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, aboard a 10-passenger single-engine plane located by Blackwater officials before catching a commercial flight home.

'There were only two guards at the orphanage, and they had only spears and machetes. The girls were sleeping with knives and Mace,' Mr. VanderMey told The Washington Times. 'They didn't know if the mobs were going to come to their village or not.'"

Afghanistan Army discovers Iranian mines on road from Kabul

Why are the anti-mine groups ignoring this? Are mines made by non-Western powers fine? What would happen if the US started deploying mines along the smuggling routes?

AKI - Adnkronos international Afghanistan: Army discovers Iranian mines on road from Kabul: "Mines produced in Iran have been discovered and seized by Afghani armed forces along the road between the capital, Kabul, and the eastern city of Jalalabad.

'These mines are the latest technology and considered very dangerous,' said a spokesman from the organisation for Afghani national security.

It is not the first time that Iran has been accused of sending arms to Taliban guerillas who are fighting the government of Hamed Karzai.

Recently the head of the Canadian troops stationed in Afghanistan accused Tehran of collaborating with militants linked to the Taliban leader, Mullah Omar.

Before him, the US defence secretary, Robert Gates, spoke of Tehran's involvement in Afghanistan.

The Iranian consul in Herat has rejected any suggestion of relations between his government and Afghani Taliban leaders."

Mexican soldiers found invading United States

We can have the Marines do some live fire practice on our borders before they travel over to secure the Iraqi borders. A win-win situation! If the Mexican army is dong the drug smuggling, how can we stop them short of open warfare? And why are we giving them the latest equipment to find our patrols? Something stinks here.

WorldNetDaily: Mexican soldiers found invading United States: "A federal document obtained and released by Judicial Watch reveals that there were dozens of armed incursions by Mexican soldiers and police into the United States during Fiscal Year 2007.

The report was obtained by the Washington-based organization that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and it documents 29 confirmed incidents along the U.S.-Mexican border involving Mexican military and/or law enforcement personnel during that time.

'These documents not only show the dangerous and chaotic situation at the Mexican border, but also the complicity of some Mexican government agents in violating U.S. law,' said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

'The U.S. government must begin to take these incidents more seriously, publicize them and take measures to bring the crisis at our border under control,' he said."

Militant threat on Eiffel Tower intercepted

Not that there is much to guess about, but I wonder which group these terrorists might be affiliated with? Hmm? Which group of terrorist scum like to blow up large buildings and symbols of non-Muslim might and pride? Hmm.

Is my sarcasm showing?

I guess it is safe to assume that the Muslims of Al Qaeda are looking to punish the French for all the troops they have in Iraq. Ooops! They refused to help out in Iraq, so it can't be that. Maybe it is just that the French don't want to be Muslim. According to the Koran, that is reason enough to slaughter!

Why are the terrorists called militants? They are not fighting for freedom in France, unless it is freedom from the laws of the country they reside in. The Media are getting stupider and more moronic with the way they daily deny that the terrorists are doing wrong. It is like they are encouraging the terrorists to greater violence by agreeing that they have a good legal reason to slaughter. I used to dislike lawyers the most, now it has shifted to journalists. What a crock.

May the Peace of Allah avoid you and allow you to live.

Ron Paul is a racist bigot in his own writing

You should go to this site and read the full text. I know I will refer to it when I deal with the Paulians. Sieg Paul! Heil Paul!

"Proof: Ron Paul Lied About Not Being the Author of the Newsletters
After quotes and copies from Ron Paul's newsletters appeared in The New Republic, Ron Paul once again trotted out the old tale that he had no idea the newsletters had any racist and crackpot conspiracy theory material in them and that a mysterious person had been responsible for writing racist things in them without him knowing about them.

Now let's look at the extracts from the newsletters that have been released, specifically let's look at December 1990, image files follow below.

The newsletter calls Martin Luther King a Communist pedophile, Ron Paul has countered that he has a great deal of respect for MLK. And then we scroll down the newsletter to discover the mysterious author of this newsletter at the very bottom as he writes;

My wife Carol and our children and grandchildren join me in wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. May we start to confound the plans of the Trilateralists and other big government types making America freer, and thus truer to her own heritage in 1991."

Japan set to force through terror law

It is nice to see that the other countries are getting serious about counter-terrorist activities again. Now that so many Right-wing governments have been elected around the world, maybe the tide is starting to turn and the War on Radical Islam will final be won and over.

Nah. The Liberals will tie things up until the Islamists are on the verge of taking over. Then the rational people will throw them into the gutter and step on their worthless hides while on the way to defend their freedoms. Not that the Liberals will want to help. They will just decry the violence used to protect them. Maybe we should send them all to Arabia to live under the laws they love to defend. I wonder how long it will take before they try to sneak back?

FT.com / World - Japan set to force through terror law: "The Japanese government is on Friday expected to use its two-thirds majority in the lower house of parliament to ram through controversial anti-terror legislation in what would be the first use of such override powers in more than half a century.

The administration of Yasuo Fukuda, prime minister, has invested substantial political capital in the legislation, which would allow Japanese naval vessels to resume supplying oil to allied ships on anti-terror patrols in the Indian Ocean. If the bill is passed on Friday, Japanese ships are expected to set sail within weeks."

Albright: Bush 'One of the Worst Presidencies' in History

HAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I think she is just upset that the police state she tried to impose, ask Elian and the people of Waco, has been overturned. Could you imagine the outcry if the current President's AG had done those things? HAHAHAHA!

This is so rich!

Albright: Bush 'One of the Worst Presidencies' in History: "Nearly seven years out office, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright pulls no punches bashing the Bush administration’s handling of certain issues – calling it one of America’s “worst presidencies.”"

Sheikh' Faisal vows to Islamise Jamaica

Nope, sounds like a rational and peaceful man. He would never follow Mohammad's example and marry a nine year old.

..: Euro-Islam.info [Sheikh' Faisal vows to Islamise Jamaica ] :..: "Sheikh’ Faisal vows to Islamise Jamaica
Muslim Weekly - December 7-13, 2007

A radical preacher has declared his version of Islam as the future for Jamaica after being deported there from the UK following his imprisonment for inciting to racial hatred. Abdullah al-Faisal has warned the Christian leaders of Jamaica to 'beware' as he sets off on a preaching mission to see 'Jamaicans renounce Christianity and become Muslims'.

In his first interview since his deportation in May, al-Faisal brandishes Christianity as 'false' and 'blasphemous'.

Speaking to presenter Ian Boyne on Television Jamaica’s (TVJ) Religious Hard Talk, the firebrand preacher states that 'Christians are pagans because they worship three gods'."

How Al Qaeda Lost Pakistan

Winning: How Al Qaeda Lost Pakistan: "Al Qaeda would have its hands full if it tries to take over Pakistan. Aside from the fact that the vast majority of the population is not fundamentalist, those who are tend to the be the fiercely tribal types who don't want Arabs telling them what to do. While South Asians and Arabs have traded for thousands of years, they have never developed very warm relations. One reason the Taliban lost power so quickly in Afghanistan in 2001 was because the large al Qaeda presence there. The Arabs, who were the largest component of al Qaeda, exhibited open disdain for the Afghans (who, like most South Asians, are Indo-European).

Al Qaeda's biggest problem is that most of their support is among the Pushtun tribes, and these only comprise 15 percent of the population. They are also the poorest and least educated minority. A unique feature of Pakistan is that it's 165 million people are all minorities, although the Punjabis (44 percent of the population) are the dominant one (not just in numbers, but in education and income as well). Closely allied with the Punjabis are the Sinds (14 percent), and together these two groups pretty much run the country. What these lowland people have not been able to run are the Pushtun and Baluch tribes up in the hills. This has been a problem for thousands of years. The hill tribesmen are fearless warriors, but the lowlanders are more numerous, disciplined and, in the end, more than a match militarily for the tribes. The hill people can threaten and raid, but they can't conquer."

Report: Al-Qaida operative arrested

Why is it that so many educated Muslims like to kill? Why is it that so many on the Left insist that it is poor people who are terrorists and educating them will eliminate the threat?

Reality can really interfere with the Leftist view of the world. Poor babies.

Report: Al-Qaida operative arrested: "Al-Qaida operative arrested

Amin al-Haq, 48, an Afghan-born doctor described as a security coordinator for al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, reportedly has been arrested in Pakistan.

Haq was arrested in Lahore, Pakistan's second largest city and capital of its Punjab province, The Nation reported Monday quoting Afghan sources. Haq, apparently captured two days ago, was reported undergoing police interrogation.

There has been no official Pakistani confirmation of the arrest, other reports said.

Haq was described as a leading al-Qaida fugitive from Afghanistan and a close associate of late Afghan jihadi leader Maulvi Younas Khalis.

Haq was a member of an Afghan delegation that went to Sudan in 1996 to bring bin Laden to Afghanistan, the report said. After bin Laden's arrival in Afghanistan, Haq became close to him, the report said.

The future belongs to Islam

Great article. Follow the link.

The future belongs to Islam | Macleans.ca - Canada - Features: "The future belongs to Islam

The Muslim world has youth, numbers and global ambitions. The West is growing old and enfeebled, and lacks the will to rebuff those who would supplant it. It's the end of the world as we've known it. An excerpt from 'America Alone'.

MARK STEYN | Oct 20, 2006

Sept. 11, 2001, was not 'the day everything changed,' but the day that revealed how much had already changed. On Sept. 10, how many journalists had the Council of American-Islamic Relations or the Canadian Islamic Congress or the Muslim Council of Britain in their Rolodexes? If you'd said that whether something does or does not cause offence to Muslims would be the early 21st century's principal political dynamic in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom, most folks would have thought you were crazy. Yet on that Tuesday morning the top of the iceberg bobbed up and toppled the Twin Towers.

This is about the seven-eighths below the surface -- the larger forces at play in the developed world that have left Europe too enfeebled to resist its remorseless transformation into Eurabia and that call into question the future of much of the rest of the world. The key factors are: demographic decline; the unsustainabili"

Soldiers jump on suicide bomber to save civilians

I hope that these brave, selfless heroes are recognized by the world for what they are.

Bomber kills 11 at Iraqi army festival - Yahoo! News: " Bomber kills 11 at Iraqi army festival

By BRADLEY BROOKS, Associated Press Writer Sun Jan 6, 2:57 PM ET

BAGHDAD - Three Iraqi soldiers threw themselves on a suicide attacker wearing an explosives vest at an Army Day celebration Sunday — an act of heroism the U.S. said likely prevented many more deaths. Iraqi police said at least 11 people were killed in the blast, the deadliest in a series of bombings in Baghdad.

One of the attacks in the capital killed an American soldier — one of two U.S. deaths announced on Sunday.

Shortly before the bomber struck the Army Day festivities, about two dozen Iraqi soldiers were standing outside the offices of a local non-governmental agency pushing for unity in Iraq. The troops, their AK-47 rifles raised in the air, chanted pro-army slogans and a common anti-insurgent taunt: "Where are the terrorists today?"

Associated Press photographer Hadi Mizban was about five yards away from the suicide attacker when he blew himself up on a narrow street in the central Karradah area.

"The blast happened as civilians were giving flowers to soldiers and sticking them in the muzzles of their guns," recalled Mizban, an Iraqi national. "It was a jubilant scene."

Afterward, he said, the street was littered with bodies, weapons and shoes. Dazed soldiers and policemen carried their bloodied colleagues to nearby pickup trucks that whisked them to a hospital.

"There was a severed head on the street and some of the soldiers that I was photographing earlier were dead. Those who survived panicked, pulling back from the scene and shooting in the air," said the 40-year-old Mizban.

Among the dead were four police officers, three Iraqi soldiers and four civilians, a police officer said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to reporters. At least 17 people were injured.

A U.S. military statement said five people were killed. The discrepancy could not immediately be explained.

These martyrs gave their lives so that others might live," said Lt. Col. Steve Stover, a U.S. military spokesman."

Man in fake MoH case: Law restricts speech

I hope this guy rots. Fake heros make me violently sick. He needs to be beaten half to death each week until he dies. Horrible scum. What a waste of humanity.

Man in fake MoH case: Law restricts speech - Marine Corps News, news from Iraq, photos from the war, late breaking reports - Marine Corps Times: "An elected official charged with falsely claiming he earned the military’s highest honor has filed a motion to dismiss the federal case against him on free speech grounds.

The motion argues that the Stolen Valor Act of 2005, under which water board member Xavier Alvarez was charged, is incompatible with the First Amendment because it restricts free speech by criminalizing false claims of military honors.

Alvarez, an elected representative to the Three Valleys Municipal Water District, said last year at a water district meeting that he was awarded the Medal of Honor for his deeds as a Marine.

After admitting he never served in the military, he was charged with violating the Stolen Valor Act. He pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge.

Alvarez’s lawyer Brianna J. Fuller argued in the motion to dismiss, which will be heard Jan. 14 in federal court, that “protecting the reputation of military decorations” is not a compelling enough reason to place “restrictions on false statements.”

But government prosecutors said in their opposition submitted Wednesday that the First Amendment does not protect deliberate falsehoods."
