Muslim Americans Feel Marginalized -- Courant.com

This is the huge elephant in the room that is being ignored by the Leftists. Honest people have seen this for a long time! About time the media writes about this and starts to get it out to the public. I am amazed that this involves both the media and congress in the learning process! Things sometimes do work out the right way, but I wonder if either of the parties will remember this in coming days? I wonder....

Muslim Americans Feel Marginalized -- Courant.com: "Such terrorists, said committee Chairman Joseph I. Lieberman, an independent who caucuses with Democrats, 'never need to meet with an al-Qaida operative or journey to a terrorist training camp. They can now become fully radicalized as members of virtual networks just sitting at their computers.'

Terrorism expert Marc Sageman is expected to tell the panel that 'contrary to popular belief, radicalization is not the product of poverty, various forms of brainwashing, youth, ignorance or lack of education, lack of job, lack of social responsibility, criminality or mental illness.'

Instead, Sageman said, those who join radical movements often do so 'based on friendship and kinship.'

More than 80 percent of arrested terrorists in Europe and the United States, he said, are mostly second and third generations of immigrants.

'They are radicalized in the West,' Sageman said, 'not the Middle East.'"
