AKI - Adnkronos international Pakistan: Injuries from blast killed Bhutto, British detectives claim: "A bomb blast not gunfire killed late Pakistani opposition leader and ex-premier, Benazir Bhutto, British detectives probing her murder conclude in a report due to be delivered to Pakistan's authorities on Friday.

The report finds that Bhutto, died on 27 December last year after hitting her head as she was tossed by the force of a suicide blast, not from an assassin’s bullet, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

The British probe also determined that a lone gunman, whose image was captured in numerous photographs at the scene, also caused the explosion, the Associated Press of Pakistan said, quoting unnamed officials who have been briefed on the inquiry.

It is understood that the team of British detectives findings' support the Pakistan government’s claim that Bhutto died after hitting her head on the sunroof of her car as she was campaigning in the garrison town of Rawalpindi."
