Recently Freed Ex-SLA Member in Custody: "Just days after her release from prison on parole, Sara Jane Olson, a former Symbionese Liberation Army fugitive who hid for years by posing as an ordinary housewife, was taken back into custody, authorities said Saturday.

Terry Thornton, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Corrections, would give no details as to why Olson was detained, but said there have been 'a lot of developments' in the case.

Olson, 61, formerly known as Kathleen Soliah, spent six years in prison for trying to bomb Los Angeles police cars in the 1970s and was released from the state prison in Chowchilla on Monday.

She was detained Friday night shortly before midnight at Los Angeles International Airport, airport spokeswoman Treva Miller told the Sacramento Bee. A corrections official had said earlier that Olson was granted interstate parole and that she was on her way to Minnesota."
